105 Thoughts Every Girl Has In American Apparel

Let’s go with the nylon disco shorts. In silver.

1. Wow, so window display, many colours.
2. Wait, isn’t this the place with the ads that look like porn?
3. Will these clothes make me look like porn?
4. Do I want to look like porn?
5. And why do only the women look like porn?
6. Whatevs, might as well pop in and check out the sale rack.

7. That shop assistant is intimidatingly beautiful.
8. She looks like she’s about to tell me that they don’t stock peasant smocks and I should leave before they release the hounds.
9. Her cheekbones don’t think I belong here.
10. Her cheekbones want me gone.
11. Everything here makes me feel poor and clownish.
12. Okay, I have to stay for long enough that cheekbones-girl doesn’t get to think she’s scared me off.
13. I’m not giving her the satisfaction.
14. Let’s start with the sale rack.
15. She’s definitely noticed that I’m starting with the sale rack.
16. But if you don’t want people to start with the sale rack, don’t charge the equivalent of a downpayment on a mortgage for an aubergine-coloured tube bra.

Beck fan redirects visitors to Loser.com website to Kanye West’s Wikipedia page

A self-confessed Beck fan who owns the URL loser.com has redirected all visitors to the site to Kanye West’s Wikipedia page.

Despite an apology from the rapper following his comments about Beck’s need to “respect artistry” following The Grammy Awards last month (February), it appears that fans of the artist have not forgiven West. Anyone currently visiting www.loser.com will find themselves on the Wikipedia page for West. ‘Loser’ was the name of Beck’s worldwide 1994 hit single.

CBC reports that the original URL was first registered by the telecommunications company Tucows in Toronto in 1995. Twitter user Amy Bustle Connelly (@AmyBustle) is claiming credit for being behind the prank. Connelly was approached for comment by NME but has yet to respond.

Yall…I’ve owned http://t.co/fm4cPVncJQ since Prince was on Appolonia…since OJ had Isotoners. Isn’t something I purchased to troll kanye— Amy Bustle Connelly (@AmyBustle) March 2, 2015

Bustle states that she owns the URL and has bragged online that she is responsible for the prank, linking to news coverage of the story.

However, one domain registar claims that the move could have been done not to spite Kanye West but to drive up the value of the URL. “I would imagine loser.com would make the top 10 sales if sold today, probably for around $500,000,” a spokeperson for Netristrat Ltd. told Metro. “It might even make 7 figures if bought by a big brand.”

Yes. And I’m saying that I am a golddigger…and would love to sell this domain https://t.co/FeIgQzFmKo— Amy Bustle Connelly (@AmyBustle) March 2, 2015
